Brand Identity Manual-- Introduction

I always hope can travel around the world and now it still is, like a wandering
cat looking things around. Cat always have strong curiosity and spade stand for
victorious and luck. Sketching down the picture I saw and adding with fantasy
element is the fun things I like to work on.

I also said the God give me a gift---a pair of drawing hands, so I will keep drawing
till my life end. Sketch down what I saw, sketch down what I heard, skecth down
what I learn. I know every time I must be improve because the world always be
change. That’s why I choose cat for my icon, cat has stronge vitality.
Keep an eye on me, I’ll let you know the power of Spade Cat....

Manifesto of St Wee

‘Shi Ting’, the name my parents gave me but now I’m ST.Wee, remember this name because you will often see it soon.

Honestly, my interest is very broad, like a lot of things and things, design and art is just one of my favorite things, but I am sure it is my greatest interest. Enrolled in high school science classes for three years, for very regular life irks, illustration and design make me bored through the long and the science of life. After graduation, I gave up an early age determined to read medicine switched to art and design.

My attitude of design, I have my own principles: No matter what happens I have to work well. Not those working slowly and fine goods, but it is the finished product for my sense of accomplishment and others agree. So whenever a work is completed, I will self-censorship that the finished product, and then decide whether to hand over the finished product. This will affect my own attitude is what happened in high school. It was happened when the temporary I was rushing homework and I drew a picture with casually, and the next day teacher called me out in front of their classmates fiercely ironic. Strong self-esteem such as me, I decided at that time 'are not satisfied with work done, would prefer not to hand in work'. This is the turning point make me more carefully to my work.

What is design? For me, design is amazing, comfortable, and beautiful. Design is life, so it is to be practical, it is necessary durable. Design is the need to innovate, but it still needs to retain the essence of the old design. Design is to communicate to the public, to understand the structure and clearly the product to use. It is the quality of human life can be more evolved; there is the human need for it.

I would like to try a lot of design, fashion design, motion graphics, interior design, and so on. Finally, I chose graphic design because it allows me to try many different challenges, it can play a lot of things, and it can put my design into the crowd, so I think it is I want to live.

I think in the design work, a certain level of painting skills, the design of high sensitivity, careful observation of the surrounding, good working attitude, good time management, and many different fields of knowledge is necessary. Although it is common sense but this is the truth. The different between design and art is the time and speed, the design needs a lot of ideas and concepts, and the time needed to complete the work cycle is very short. It is high need to rely on mental and challenging work, to try, see more and more accumulated experience will be the weapons I need in this design field.

Enter this design industry, a good communication and good interpersonal relationships are needed, especially in the same industry predecessors. It also needs a lot of design experience and courage, good self-discipline and independence. In language, particularly is English, whether is listening, speaking or writing is required. 

However, this is what I will face challenges, I need to overcome those challenges. I believe that the environment will influence and inspire human potential, language is the same situation. So in regular contact with the English environment, language skills will be strengthened. Therefore, libraries and bookstores where I often go to absorb the latest information on where to buy books to read; exhibitions and other activities often come into contact with the industry's predecessors, you can contact to get them, because lay relationships are good.

I like to have emotions, feelings, thinking and lively things, such as book review or want is a living creature. Things that is what resonates with me, it is where my ideas are derived. Illustration and hand-made works are part of my more outstanding skills; I like to observe what happens around, whether it is the small details of life, or about social affairs, and then included in my designs. I like to think, like stray cats around to see, to discover the essence of design and wisdom, to find each of the development of space and design possibilities. 

I always act within my sphere of influence and to focus on those things that are within my control. Like Reinhold Niebuhr has said “Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”Invention of new instruments is not what I can do; I just need to design and processing of the original product to make it more convenient for operation.  

As a designer, I have to improve myself every day in some way, whether it is by dropping a negative belief, learning a new word, adding to my knowledge of the world, and so on. I hope I can travel around to experience different places and cultures, to know more of this world and self-improvement. Because I believe the world is in evolution every day, so I must better than yesterday. To create some little bit of beauty every day, even if it is no more than rearranging the flowers in a vase or letting light and air into a room.

Know the rules of the game design career; saw the opportunity to break through it, ready at any time of a difficult situation. The workplace is battlefield; invincible is aware of choice for the battlefield, understanding of the battlefield, in order to grasp the initiative. This is my mission as a designer.

I cherish God has given me the talent, so I will use it to back and serve the people. I am responsible for the talent that has been entrusted me, my existence and to prove worthy of my life. Although it is not the fastest way and most intelligent way to improve human life, but it is the best way for me to serve the community.
